At this year’s Primadonna Festival, taking place at the Food Museum in Stowmarket from July 29th to 31st, I will be performing a series of pieces I wrote in response to songs written by Stephen Duffy and the Lilac Time. I played on both ‘And Love for All’ and ‘Astronauts’ when they were originally recorded so it felt like a very natural progression to respond to the material, adapting the songs to create piano pieces. A re-mastered ‘Astronauts’ is due to be released in 2023 on Pete Paphides’ record label Needle Mythology.
